Belarusian writer, translator. One of the founders of the influential literary group "Bum-Bam-Lit" in the 1990s. Author of novels that defined the prose of post-Soviet Belarus, among them - "Magpie on the gallows", "Cursed guests of the capital", "Shabana", "White fly, a murderer of men", "Dogs of Europe", etc. "Dogs of Europe" in 2018 received the award "Book of the Year", the second prize of Jerzy Giedroyc, this work was considered by critics as the Great Belarusian Novel.
